I Use Arch Now Btw
i installed manjaro linux. therefore i use arch btw. the problem was that i couldn't for the life of me install arch linux. i used chatgpt to guide me though the installation process. it didn't work. today i tried installing manjaro linux. that didn't work either. i tried installing linux mint which usually works. but that didn't work either. i actually gave up twice today. but i kept coming back. i craved that nostalgia. this is what they are talking about when they say, you should work on things that you enjoy. if i didn't enjoy the it, i would have just given up and never come back and it would've forever left a bad taste in my mouth. but depsite the failures i kept coming back. i tried out all sorts of different troubleshooting solutions. chatgpt couldn't give me the solution right away. it thought that it was a software issue, when infact, it was a hardware issue. the culprit was the graphics card. the graphics card was causing the desktop environment to not load. when installing arch i thought it was an issue with the config or setup. but no, it was just that my graphics card was not working properly anymore. it was a frustrating experience for a long time, but when i had figured it out in the end, despite feeling very tired from trying over and over to succeed, once i have done it. i feel as sense of self esteem, like this is a lesson that needs to be learned, that you should never give up easily, you should keep trying even if you've failed many times. way easier said than done.
